About The Position
We are seeking a Systems Testing / QA Specialist to execute comprehensive testing activities across web-based applications, APIs, and integrated systems. This role involves hands-on testing, defect management, test planning, and collaboration across project teams to ensure high-quality system delivery.
Requirements
- Experience with functional, regression, and integration testing of web-based applications
- Proficiency in developing automated test scripts and executing complex test plans
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., SOAP UI, Swagger, Postman)
- Strong experience with defect tracking tools and defect lifecycle management
- Experience performing database validation using SQL in an Oracle environment
- Ability to create test data for automated and manual testing
- Experience supporting UAT processes
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as FHIR
- Understanding of accessibility standards and regulations
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Follow a clearly defined test strategy
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing of web applications and reports
- Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases
- Develop and manage defects based on priority and severity
- Coordinate defect tracking throughout the full testing lifecycle
- Participate in iteration planning sessions and define acceptance criteria
- Execute test cases and report testing results
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test data creation and execution
- Lead and participate in peer reviews of test artefacts
- Provide input into project testing strategies
- Review and communicate test results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Facilitate and participate in regular defect review meetings
- Perform database validation using SQL in an Oracle environment
- Generate test data using automation tools to support testing cycles
- Assist in defining testing scope and resolving issues during iterations
