About The Position

I2X Technologies is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to support a customer in Longmont, Colorado. The position is on-site and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. The engineer will plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for integrating and testing in-house-developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems. The role translates contractual customer needs into test solutions that meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints; establishes functional and technical specifications; resolves hardware-software interface issues; and defines input/output parameters for system integration. The engineer develops and executes test plans, procedures, and schedules; coordinates subsystem and system testing; and integrates complex systems of systems to identify workarounds and defects and combine subsystem components into major system functions. Additional work includes documenting procedures and configurations, training users, maintaining systems in a customer-owned facility, facilitating communication between operations and engineering, contributing metrics for management briefings, and evaluating software versions. The position may require occasional support for 24/7 system test events or after-hours operational anomalies.
