About The Position

Con Edison is seeking an Architect with a strong technology foundation who is eager to grow into a future enterprise architecture leader. The role provides technical leadership within delivery teams, helps optimize the technology landscape and contributes to both short-term and long-term Enterprise Tech & Security (ETS) strategy. The role also includes coaching and guidance from enterprise architects to support continuous learning and growth. The senior application architecture role is dedicated to fostering innovation and collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders. Serving as a liaison between business and ETS, the architect develops and maintains technology capability roadmaps, reference architecture, best practices, guidelines, and leads application rationalization efforts. This position works in close partnership with application owners, domain architects, and developers to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and effectively support business objectives. By evaluating integration options across IT domains, the architect guides the development of business solutions utilizing advanced technologies. Additionally, the specialist is instrumental in establishing and collaborating on technical standards related to development, integration, and system maintenance. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
