The Systems Engineering & Solution Sales team at Nutanix is a dynamic and customer-focused group of over 800 technical sales professionals located primarily in Chicago. Our mission is to align technology opportunities with our customers' business challenges and objectives, ensuring that they receive comprehensive support as they navigate their transformational journeys. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, continuous learning, and proactive engagement with clients. This team acts as trusted advisors, leveraging deep technical knowledge to educate and influence customers about our robust solutions portfolio.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on technical aptitude and adaptability to market demands.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to suggest solutions.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and executing action plans.
  • Advanced knowledge of virtualization and/or enterprise applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb servers for proof of concept execution.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery workshops with customers to educate them on industry challenges and Nutanix solutions.
  • Demonstrate product features and articulate the benefits of Nutanix solutions to prospective clients.
  • Size and configure Nutanix solutions to meet customer requirements effectively.
  • Drive customer adoption success by leveraging available programs within designated accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers as their trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop account plans and create tailored proposals based on customer needs.
  • Communicate customer feedback to enhance Nutanix's solutions and service offerings.
  • Execute and deliver flawless proof of concepts that demonstrate the capabilities of Nutanix solutions.
