About The Position

As a Quality Engineer on the Home and Vision Product Systems Quality team, you will have a significant impact on helping to deliver a functional and stable Apple Vision Pro experience to millions of customers in a fast-paced environment. You will engage early in the development phase to enable and qualify technologies across Apple Products like Vision Pro and the Apple Home ecosystem. This role involves driving integrated system testing with an emphasis on hardware-centric software risks and new software features for new/existing devices and their accessories. The team is looking for individuals who can think outside the box, ranging from customer usage scenario research to designing complicated test procedures around it. The Systems Quality Engineer will drive quality subjectively and objectively for features that integrate aspects of software, hardware, and customer-centered ecosystem scenarios. Using data and a drive for quality, you'll advocate for fixes and coordinate with engineers across Apple to improve and maintain quality on new and upcoming releases.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent
• 3 years of Systems Quality Assurance or System Test experience, preferably on consumer-facing Hardware/Software products
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including leadership representation
• Detail oriented and organized with a strong discipline of adhering to standards
• Basic understanding of machine learning models and AI applications

Nice To Haves

• Coding or scripting experience in Python or Bash
• Familiarity with AR/VR concepts and usage of AI tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Sufficient knowledge of tools necessary for strong data analysis
• Direct experience partnering with functional engineering teams, with exceptional ability to build relationships
• Demonstrates QA skills with at least 2 complete product cycles, from inception to customer shipment
