About The Position

The Systems Programmer III reports to the Network Systems Administrator and is a member of the Telecommunications Services team. This position operates as a technical team lead which is focused on the planning, design, monitoring, integration, administration, configuration and management of the Voice Communication Systems, Video Communication Systems and other related systems which support the Department's business needs and mission.

Requirements

Strong Voice over IP technical support and Architecture experience
Experience in network and telecommunications design and implementation
Thorough understanding of telephony technologies including PBX, IVR, Voicemail, Call Centers, CTI and Enterprise Voice Systems
Working experience with enterprise video communication solutions such as Cisco WebEx
Working experience with Call/Contact Center applications such as Cisco UCCE, Cisco UCCX or Avaya Contact Center
Knowledge of networking equipment and TCP/IP (routers, switches and gateways)
Experience coordinating and maintaining telecommunications service contracts and maintenance agreements
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
Basic proficiency in coding/programming and technical documentation
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work and lead independently
Level 2 background check
Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance, to include a fingerprint-based check of the criminal records of the FBI
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker
Must provide identification and either proof of U.S. citizenship or proof of authorization to work in the U.S.
Must provide proof of Selective Service System registration or exemption if male and required to register.
