This position is responsible for staffing the 7x24 command center to ensure operational availability of systems, networks, and applications. Monitors the data center environment to ensure the availability of all business applications. This full-time position is on the 3rd shift: starting Sunday from 11:00PM – 7:30AM Eastern Time Zone

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum 2 years of Information Technology operations experience
  • Knowledge of Unix and Windows
  • Communication (written, verbal and listening), planning, organizing, analytical, problem solving, time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to support 7X24 on-call rotation

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in computer science, business administration or related work experience desired
  • Automated job scheduling desired
  • Working in a multi-processing environment desired
  • Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable

Responsibilities

  • Provides operational support for the 7x24 enterprise data center. Communicates and escalates issues as required and follow through to ensure system resolution
  • Monitors identifies and supports the resolution of problems using a monitoring console. Coordinates as necessary with technical staff.
  • Provides service desk support.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of SFTP file transfers.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of batch scheduling.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of UNIX and Windows operations systems
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Demonstrate Company’s Competencies and Core values held within.
