I2X Technologies is seeking a Systems/Network Administrator to support ongoing activities for a customer in Eglin AFB, FL. This position will be onsite and will require an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain SAP.

Requirements

  • Minimum Clearance Required Top Secret SCI
  • Ability to obtain SAP
  • Solid understanding of multiple operating systems to include Windows and Linux variants.
  • BS Degree desired
  • Knowledgeable in Virtualization, Network and Server background
  • Knowledge in VMWare, MS Windows, Linux, MS Server, SQL, Patching and STIG'ing
  • 5-9 years of experience required
  • Current IAT level II Certification required
  • Experience supporting computer systems, networks and servers up to the TS/SCI level (JWICS)
  • TS/SCI Clearance required
  • US Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and support an organization's Windows and Linux Servers local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
  • Monitor servers to ensure availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
  • May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption.
  • Assist in modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between servers, network and data communications hardware and software.
  • May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
  • May administer security measures.
  • Maintain a robust library of computer system images for functions commonly used across the squadron, allowing rapid builds of new systems, as requirements dictate.
  • Perform software license management providing full accountability of all software and associated licenses, and ensuring the squadron is properly equipped to support existing requirements and can rapidly adapt to support changing requirements, as needed.
  • Ensure that versions/service packs for all software are kept up to date.
  • Provide server administration services in accordance with DoD regulations and coordinate as necessary with external Information Assurance offices.
  • Maintain weekly data backups for all maintained connected and stand-alone systems to ensure no data loss in case of system failure or corruption.
  • Interface regularly with customers to address issues and ensure compliance with pertinent regulations related to IT.
  • Provide support as it applies to hardware and software IT support. This includes submission and tracking of Computer System Requirements Documents (CSRDs) with customer, as well as interfacing with customer’s processes and requirements for hardware and software installation and management.
