About The Position

The Systems Migration Specialist will architect, manage, and lead the strategy for all Property Management Systems (PMS) implementations at Cardinal, including systems like Entrata, RealPage, and Yardi. This role involves working directly with the transitions team and clients to identify requirements, provide solutions, and develop standard implementation processes. The Specialist will also provide level III application support to end-users for newly transitioned properties for 90+ days post-implementation.

Requirements

Experience in property management operations is required.
Deep expertise in one or more of the following systems, Entrata, RealPage or Yardi, designing solutions to meet business objectives.
Experience working and communicating directly with high-value clients is required.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Excellent analytical, planning, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to work with minimal direction, adjusting quickly to workplace changes.
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks to maximize time, resources and productivity.
Capability to explain solutions in non-technical terms.
8 years of experience in a comparable field.

Responsibilities

Manage the Entrata SIM Tool: Hands-on execution of the Entrata SIM tool to configure, test, and deploy both E2E and non-E2E property migrations, ensuring all systems architecture guidelines are met.
Lead System Migrations: Serve as the primary technical lead for migrating property, resident, and financial data from external software solutions (such as Yardi and RealPage) into Entrata.
Post-Migration Support: Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting immediately following implementation to ensure properties reach stable, everyday operations.
Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain detailed documentation of migration workflows, custom scripts, mappings, and troubleshooting steps. Continually refine migration playbooks to reduce deployment times and increase reliability. Incorporate new Entrata releases into processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, accounting, and IT teams to understand unique property requirements, ensuring that custom workflows, chart of accounts, property data point elements, and lease term structures are accurately translated during the migration.
End-to-End (E2E) Testing: Architect and execute comprehensive testing protocols to guarantee complete data accuracy and workflow continuity upon go-live.
Data Mapping & Validation: Audit and map data sets to Entrata’s property management structure. Perform thorough data comparisons, identify and resolve discrepancies before, during, and after migration.
Lead and Support: Cardinal OKRs as needed.
Participate: In Cardinal U training as required.
