About The Position

This position leads the 24/7 Technology Service Operations Core Settlement group, providing technical support for new products, production issues, and ongoing operations. The role ensures uninterrupted service delivery and continuity planning. It involves day-to-day leadership, coaching, and oversight for teams and projects, including assigning and monitoring work, supporting recruiting and development, and managing relationships with external clients, consultants, vendors, and service-level agreements. The Systems Manager also leads and sponsors technology initiatives by translating business strategy and user needs into prioritized long-range plans, recommending solutions, and identifying future opportunities through research into emerging technologies and best practices. This role partners with management and business owners to define IT priorities, scope, capacity, and technical direction, providing recommendations based on client expectations, operational constraints, and performance considerations. Additionally, it involves developing financial forecasts and cost estimates for operating and capital needs, while establishing and monitoring IT standards, controls, compliance requirements, platform compatibility, data integrity, and security practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • At least 7 years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of principles, theories, practices and techniques for making activities related to planning, managing and implementing software projects and programs
  • Broad knowledge of practices, guidelines and procedures for planning, implementing and monitoring enterprise level information technology hardware and operating system infrastructures
  • Broad knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated sound business judgment, understanding of business purpose of each project and decision making within that context
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
