About The Position

The position's role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all Microsoft Windows clients, servers, and associated operating systems. The Systems Management Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. This position is responsible for and manages the operation and configuration of system tools for management of the Microsoft infrastructure.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent and eight ( 8 ) years of experience in the field related to the position.
• OR Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related discipline and six ( 6 ) years of experience in the field related to the position.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline and four ( 4 ) years of experience in the field related to the position.
• OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, a related discipline and two ( 2 ) years of experience in the field related to the position.
• Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record at time of hire.
• Satisfactory Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check within 30 days of hire.
