We are seeking skilled plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians to help maintain and repair critical building systems across various county properties. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of related work experience in MEP trades (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years of Building Automation Systems (BAS) experience.
  • Hold or obtain CFC license (Universal Refrigerant Recovery) within six (6) months of hire.
  • Hold or obtain forklift license within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and directly to work requests.
  • Diagnose, initiate, and complete minor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs in County Government facilities.
  • Receive and close-out work requests by computer and/or hand-held electronic device.
  • Inspect facilities and report HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems or unsafe conditions.
  • Routinely meet with County employees and supervisors when responding to work requests.
  • Provide superior customer service at all times.
  • Be available to respond to County emergencies (24/7) as directed in accordance with Department policy and written or verbal directive.
  • Respond to out-of-hours emergency and priority work requests on a rotating basis.
