Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years of related work experience in MEP trades (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of Building Automation Systems (BAS) experience.
Hold or obtain CFC license (Universal Refrigerant Recovery) within six (6) months of hire.
Hold or obtain forklift license within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and directly to work requests.
Diagnose, initiate, and complete minor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs in County Government facilities.
Receive and close-out work requests by computer and/or hand-held electronic device.
Inspect facilities and report HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems or unsafe conditions.
Routinely meet with County employees and supervisors when responding to work requests.
Provide superior customer service at all times.
Be available to respond to County emergencies (24/7) as directed in accordance with Department policy and written or verbal directive.
Respond to out-of-hours emergency and priority work requests on a rotating basis.
