About The Position

We are looking for a Systems IV&V Engineer for our Avionics division to support the integration, verification, and validation of certified avionics products. This role works closely with senior engineers to perform testing, system integration, requirements verification, troubleshooting, documentation, and certification support, contributing to the delivery of safe and reliable avionics solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Aerospace, Electrical, Software, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in systems engineering, avionics, aerospace, embedded systems, testing, or related technical environments.
  • Knowledge of systems integration, verification, and validation principles.
  • Familiarity with avionics or embedded systems and hardware/software integration.
  • Experience with Linux or Windows environments.
  • Understanding of the system development lifecycle and configuration management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to communication interfaces such as Ethernet, ARINC 429, CAN Bus, or serial protocols is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Python, or similar tools.
  • Experience with avionics certification standards (e.g., DO-160) and lab test equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
  • Translate system and customer requirements into verification activities.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution during integration and testing.
  • Support certification and compliance efforts, including requirements traceability and test documentation.
  • Maintain verification records, test results, and technical reports.
  • Contribute to automation, lab infrastructure, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, and program teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Follow engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety practices.
