About The Position

This role, internally called a System Integrity Specialist (externally known as an Inside Sales Specialist), focuses on helping customers maintain safety and code compliance by identifying sprinkler system deficiencies and guiding them to the right repair solutions. Approximately 70% of the time is office-based, involving reviewing inspection results, building quotes and proposals, and customer communication via phone and email. The remaining 30% is in the field, including customer meetings, surveying life safety systems, building rapport, and ensuring recommendations are accurate and compliant. The specialist will work closely with an outside sales executive, acting as a key point of contact for accounts, advocating for the customer, clarifying scope, coordinating next steps, and ensuring systems remain up to code.

Requirements

  • Prior technical experience with sprinkler systems.
  • Sales experience beyond retail or hospitality, ideally in a service-based environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering closely with internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Comfort using CRM and operations tools like ServiceTrade and HubSpot.
  • A people-first mindset, capable of being the customer’s advocate while still driving urgency.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience translating inspection findings into repair scopes customers understand.
  • Experience selling service work, repairs, or maintenance agreements.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders to keep repairs moving fast.
  • Experience in construction, trade, or life safety environments.

Responsibilities

  • Review inspection reports and deficiency documentation related to sprinkler systems.
  • Build and send quotes and proposals for sprinkler repairs and maintenance contracts.
  • Communicate clearly with customers by phone and email regarding scope, scheduling, next steps, and renewals.
  • Track renewals, follow ups, and proposal activity, keeping documentation accurate and organized.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Operations, to move work from quote to completion.
  • Visit customer sites as needed to survey systems and support accurate quoting.
