About The Position

Objectstream, Inc. is an award-winning firm providing IT, engineering, and consulting solutions to federal and state agencies, including the FAA and DoD, for more than two decades. The Role Provide hands-on integration, testing, and troubleshooting support for hardware, software, networks, databases, and interfaces within the National Airspace System (NAS) and FAA enterprise environments, working alongside engineers, developers, test teams, and FAA stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Math, Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems integration, systems engineering, testing, or deployment.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex, multi-component systems, including IP networking, Linux/Windows servers, and databases.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills; ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, integrate, and test hardware, software, databases, and network components in FAA physical and virtual environments, including end-to-end integration testing.
  • Support interfaces between internal, external, and legacy systems (APIs, XML messaging, JMS queues, IP/TDM).
  • Assist with installations, deployments, site readiness, cutovers, and operational transition at FAA facilities.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of multi-system issues and recommend solutions that improve reliability and performance.
  • Develop technical documentation (test plans and reports, ICDs, configuration and deployment procedures) in line with FAA standards and AMS requirements.
  • Communicate status, risks, and results to technical teams and government stakeholders; participate in reviews and demonstrations.
