About The Position

Vantor is seeking a Systems Integrator / Project Lead to manage the development of a web-based geospatial visualization application. This role requires a strong management and development background to coordinate diverse skillsets and personnel crucial for project success. The position also involves overseeing smaller-scale tool development that is vital to the program's success. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Government security clearance (TS/SCI with polygraph).

Requirements

  • Senior Labor Category: Minimum 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 7 years of experience with a Master’s degree; or 6 years of experience with a Doctorate.
  • Active/current TS/SCI with required polygraph
  • Willingness to work onsite full time in McLean, VA.
  • US citizenship required
  • Strong, hands-on experience using Jira to manage and track software development work.
  • Experience supporting system accreditation requirements and creation of required documentation.
  • Strong management skills

  • Familiarity with Agile or sprint-based development (practical, delivery-focused experience preferred).
  • Experience using Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of cloud migration approaches and modernization patterns.
  • Experience with AWS or cloud-native application environments.
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community data and workflows.
  • Exposure to geospatial tools, applications, or enterprise systems.

  • Familiarity with sponsor-specific project management frameworks and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Run sprint planning via JIRA board (Bi-Weekly). Ensure tickets are assigned to team members and follow the current path forward to meet the MVP requirements.
  • JIRA ticket management – Create/manage epic level tickets, which includes flushing out tasking ticket small enough and detailed enough in scope to be completed in a sprint cycle. Tickets should include acceptance criteria that can be used in testing to validate requirements being met. This also includes the management of the backlog to ensure duplicates aren’t being created and new tickets are vetted for current standards.
  • Ensure that the production schedule stays on track and identifies risks/mitigations for meeting development milestones.
  • Run daily SCRUM meetings to identify progress and blockers for members of the team.
  • Coordinate the UI/UX teams’ design schedule and ensure it stays on pace with the software tool development and follows the MVP requirements document.
  • Software testing – Ensures the sprint deliverable satisfies the requirements identified in the JIRA tasking tickets.
