About The Position

Sherpa 6 Inc. is offering a unique internship opportunity through the DoW SkillBridge Program for transitioning military service members. This internship is designed to provide participants with real-world training and exposure to technical services and systems integration within a defense-focused environment. The position is part of our Systems Integrator Internship Program, where interns will work closely with our talented Integration and Solutions Development team. Interns will be assigned to the Technical Services Division and trained at our headquarters in Spring Lake, NC or on-site at Fort Bragg, NC. The position is structured to prepare interns for potential future employment as a Systems Integrator with Sherpa 6.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of honorable military service
• 5 years’ experience in a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic; self-starter
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance required

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training with DoW hardware and software technologies.
• Assist in the development, integration, and testing of technical solutions.
• Attend program and project meetings to observe solution development processes.
• Support innovative technology initiatives and problem-solving efforts.
• Gain exposure to the transition process from R&D to service delivery.
• Learn the fundamentals of project management, customer engagement, and training support.
