Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Systems Integration Test Engineering Intern - Summer 2026. In this role, you will: - Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. - Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. - Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware and software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university in Mechanical, Systems, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • MATLAB, Python, or CAD experience or equivalent
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with Solidworks, CREO, or equivalent
  • C++ or coding experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written, good organizational skills.
