About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Onsite Job: Systems Integration & Test Engineer Level 3 to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role operates on an 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule with a 9/80A work schedule. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and the ability to travel. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience, or Master's Degree with 3 years of experience, or PhD with 1 year of experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and systems thinking mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced troubleshooting experience with hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Clearance with additional customer-specified clearance prior to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in integration and test environments for complex electronic systems.
  • Experience performing Design Verification Tests (DVT), Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing.
  • Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRM).
  • Knowledge of EOIR systems, sensors, and optics.
  • Experience with Model-Based Engineering (MBE) tools such as Cameo.
  • Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain processes and procedures for the assembly and testing of spacecraft, aircraft, and related equipment.
  • Coordinate integration activities with supervisors, program engineers, and customer organizations.
  • Document and disposition hardware discrepancies while driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Design and develop tooling to support integration and test activities.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during system integration and testing.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure successful system integration and verification.
