About The Position

LM400 is looking for a front line leader to support the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE), Property Coordination (PC), Logistics, and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) functions of the satellite build factory. Duties will include the management of all flight and test materials delivered to the LM400 production floor. Generation and upkeep of detailed parts shortages, kitting, and material routing to floor via the MRP deployed team members. Planning and oversight of Logistics operations for receiving and delivery of Flight Hardware, test equipment, and storage. Coordinate and assist in planning of major program milestones for multiple LM400 Satellite builds in the Gateway facility at Waterton campus. Support general planning associated with Assembly Integration and Test operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering, similar degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience in demand management of production areas. LM400 Leverages SAP.
  • Experience taking hardware from development to production
  • Demonstrated ability to manage Logistics operations to include receiving, packaging, transportation of hardware across multiple campus/buildings/faculties.
  • Experience with Aerospace testing practices.
  • Minimum of a TS clearance to start and ability to maintain a TS/SCI.
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • VE CAMs, Apriso or equivalent manufacturing tool knowledge.
  • Support hiring, recruiting, and retention initiatives to meet near and long-term business needs
  • Experience with the Satellite production
  • Experience in complex system low/high rate production
