About The Position

The Integration Test Lead provides strategic leadership for FSRA’s legacy‑to‑D365 modernization program, defining and governing the integration and end‑to‑end testing approach. The role oversees the full integration testing lifecycle, establishes enterprise standards for system and API testing, and ensures alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and quality frameworks. It also embeds automated integration testing within CI/CD pipelines, manages defect and dependency governance, and delivers clear quality and readiness reporting. As the authority for integration quality across business platforms, the role enables scalable, automated, and consistent testing to ensure reliable system interoperability across teams.

Requirements

  • Postsecondary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field – or a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 or recognized QA/Testing credentials (e.g., ISTQB).
  • 7+ years of QA /Integrations experience, with a minimum 3+ years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (v8.2 and above), preferably in the finance sector.
  • 5+ years of experience testing both web applications and desktop applications.
  • Hands-on experience testing Dynamics 365 modules (CRM, Sales, Service, Finance, Operations, etc.).
  • strong experience in both manual and automation testing across Microsoft-based platforms, including Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and FSRA’s web applications.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipeline automation and integration.
  • Knowledge of banking/financial domains
  • Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile frameworks.
  • Proficient in automation tools, including Selenium WebDriver, C#, Power Automate, and Dynamics-specific frameworks.
  • Skilled in Azure DevOps for test planning, pipeline management, and defect tracking.
  • Advanced expertise in API testing using Postman and REST Assured.
  • Solid understanding of SQL for data validation and back-end testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive test strategies and plans, with a strong focus on risk-based scope definition.
  • Effective risk management capabilities to identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks for timely delivery.
  • Competent in test data management and ensuring data quality for execution.
  • Strong analytical skills in defect investigation, debugging, and root cause analysis.
  • Expertise in business requirement mapping, ensuring traceability between test cases, user stories, and requirements (RTM).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality in test case review and documentation.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong documentation and reporting abilities, producing clear and concise technical reports.
  • Effective stakeholder management, aligning UAT objectives with business users and developers.
  • Adaptable and proactive in learning new technologies, managing shifting priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation, particularly within Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with modern test automation frameworks and tools, including Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#), Power Apps Test Engine, and EasyRepro for Dynamics.
  • Exposure to GitHub Codespaces and GitHub Actions (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the enterprise integration test strategy, ensuring alignment with FSRA’s technology roadmap, regulatory obligations, and operational priorities.
  • Establish and enforce integration testing governance, frameworks, standards, and best practices across all business applications and shared platforms.
  • Lead D-365 program integration test planning and risk-based scoping for major releases, ensuring clear quality gates, dependency management, and defined go/no-go criteria.
  • Govern end-to-end integration testing across systems, APIs, data flows, and third-party interfaces.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for integration-related quality risks, issues, and defects across technical and business teams.
  • Design, oversee, and mature integration test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Power Automate, Azure DevOps, or equivalent technologies to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Manage integration test planning, execution, and defect tracking using platforms such as Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Embed automated integration tests within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation, faster feedback, and reliable deployments.
  • Own and maintain integration test reporting dashboards and KPIs, including defect leakage, integration coverage, pass/fail trends, and execution velocity, ensuring insights are accurate and actionable for leadership.
  • Partner closely with architecture, development, data, and infrastructure teams to understand system dependencies, integration touchpoints, and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and analysts to validate end-to-end business processes and ensure integration outcomes meet business and regulatory needs.
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination to resolve environment, data, and dependency constraints impacting integration testing.
  • Lead, establish, and promote standardized integration testing practices, aligned with FSRA QA and UAT policies and enterprise quality standards.
  • Ensure strong traceability across requirements, integration test scenarios, execution results, and defects to support audit, CAB, and regulatory expectations.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage for system integrations, APIs, data transformations, regulatory workflows, and Dynamics 365 integrations.
  • Govern the integration defect lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution, root-cause analysis, and transparent communication to leadership.
  • Lead integration readiness assessments and quality sign-off for production releases.
  • Support production validation, smoke testing, and post-release monitoring to ensure ongoing stability and integration health.
  • Lead validation efforts for Dynamics 365 platform updates, releases, and new features, ensuring seamless integration with dependent systems.
  • Define and coordinate the integration test data strategy (mock services, synthetic data, masked production data) to enable effective, secure, and compliant testing.
