About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to design, deploy, optimize, and sustain high-performance streaming 3D graphics infrastructure. This role centers on multi-GPU servers equipped with NVIDIA L40 / L40S (or equivalent professional GPUs) configured for shared GPU virtualization, supporting low-latency remote 3D visualization, simulation, and interactive workloads delivered via virtual machines and containers in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will integrate GPU-accelerated platforms that enable secure, high-fidelity 3D streaming to thin clients, virtual desktops, and remote users while maintaining performance, security, and operational reliability in demanding environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT and five (5) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.
  • Hands-on experience configuring enterprise GPUs (NVIDIA A/L-Series) using vGPU, MIG, or direct hardware passthrough
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Linux administration (RHEL preferred), basic Windows administration, and familiarity applying DISA STIGs / OS hardening
  • Working knowledge of OSI layer fundamentals, IP routing, and low-latency/UDP transport concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with KVM/QEMU, VirtIO device models, and IOMMU/VFIO kernel configuration
  • Automated compliance tooling experience (e.g., OpenSCAP, STIG automation via Ansible)
  • Familiarity with remote display/streaming protocols (e.g., NICE DCV, WebRTC)
  • Relevant certifications (DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II like Security+, or vendor certs from Red Hat, NVIDIA, VMware)
