About The Position

Erias Ventures is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration of Linux and Windows platforms. The role supports software and system deployments, system builds and staging, lab and field integration, and operational troubleshooting. The engineer will provide Tier 3 support, develop and maintain system-specific software baselines, assess performance and security, and provide technical leadership and quality assurance for software integration and testing. A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance is required; candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government clearance for this position. The role requires availability for 24/7 call-in support for critical operational discrepancies and willingness to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

Current Top-Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph; candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science, or four years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree. Two years of experience may be substituted with an MS in Engineering or Computer Science.
Four years of experience with software and system deployments, Linux system administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps.
Recent experience within the last three years with Kubernetes.
Recent experience within the last three years with cluster orchestration.
Recent experience within the last three years with containerization.
Availability for 24/7 call-in support for critical operational system discrepancies.
Willingness to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Active IAT II/CWIP or DoD 8570-compliant certification, such as Security+, and CCNA certification.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
Maintain and develop environments for hardware and software system builds, staging, testing, and integration.
Perform system, subsystem, and equipment racking, stacking, testing, and software integration at field sites and local lab environments.
Prepare and update technical documentation for system and software installations, sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Provide Tier 3 support by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving system failures and degradation.
Provide technical support to software development and integration efforts in the lab and during field installations.
Create system-specific software baselines and related configuration files for new deployments and system upgrades.
Provide in-depth troubleshooting of IT systems.
Provide technical leadership to less experienced engineers.
Analyze and resolve complex system and integration problems.
Monitor and assess system performance and security, and assist in determining system impact, cost, risk, and recommended architecture changes.
Serve as technical lead for software integration and testing.
Ensure quality assurance of software integration test processes and products.
