This position will support one of our government clients in Fort Meade, MD. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience.
  • Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
  • Must have an IAT-I certification, such as Security + CE.
  • Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering.
  • Must have experience in network or system administration.
  • Strong Linux experience.
  • Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
  • Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
  • Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage.
  • Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
  • Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
  • Experience with SELinux and FIPS
