About The Position

Erias Ventures is seeking engineers who wish to grow their careers and want to become part of a technically strong and growth-oriented company focused on bringing innovative solutions to the difficult mission problems facing our customers. We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration of Linux and Windows platforms. This role involves installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining operating systems and software applications, as well as maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software systems builds, staging, testing, and integration. The engineer will also perform system, sub-system, and equipment racking, stacking, testing, and software integration at field sites and local lab environments. Additionally, the role requires preparing and updating technical documentation, providing Tier 3 support for system failures and degradation, and offering technical support to software development and integration efforts. The engineer will create system-specific software baselines, perform in-depth troubleshooting of IT systems, provide technical leadership, analyze and resolve complex system and integration problems, and monitor and assess system performance and security.

Requirements

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required; or twelve (12) years of experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; or a Master’s Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to ten (10); or in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating system and software applications
Maintain and develop the environment for hardware and software systems builds, staging, testing, and integration
Perform system, sub-system, and equipment racking, stacking, testing, and software integration at field sites and local lab environments
Prepare and update technical documentation for system and software installations, sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshooting
Provide Tier 3 support for system failures and degradation problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
Provide technical support to software development and integration efforts in the lab and during field installations
Create system-specific software baselines and related configuration files in preparation for new deployments or system upgrades
Provide in-depth trouble-shooting of IT systems
Provide technical leadership to less experienced engineers
Analyze and resolve complex system and integration problems
Monitor and assess system performance and security, and assist in determining the system impact, cost, risk, and recommended architecture changes
Serve as technical lead for software integration and testing
Ensure quality assurance of software integration test processes and products
