About The Position

ProSync Technology Group, LLC (ProSync) is seeking a System Engineer with strong experience in system administration, automation, security compliance, and enterprise infrastructure support. The engineer will work on a small, mission‑focused team responsible for maintaining system integrity, performance, and security across critical client/server environments. This role requires hands‑on administration of Windows and Linux systems, support for networking devices, and familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can interact frequently with users and customers, escalate issues appropriately, and ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and operational.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of experience in system engineering (OR) An Associate's Degree, a High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (OR) A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience (OR) A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Strong System Engineering and System Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Security Compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of networking devices. (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
  • System Administration skills for Windows/Linux.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization.
  • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, Network Services.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols and patching.
  • Communication and escalation of issues to management.
  • A Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end‑to‑end system engineering and administration for Windows and Linux environments supporting mission‑critical operations.
  • Maintain strict security compliance across systems, including patching, protocol enforcement, configuration validation, and audit readiness.
  • Develop or support automation workflows to streamline system administration, configuration management, and compliance tasks.
  • Work with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista devices to ensure reliable connectivity, proper configuration, and secure operation.
  • Support containerized environments and Kubernetes‑based deployments as part of modernization and operational workflows.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and related identity and access management services.
  • Ensure systems adhere to required security protocols, perform regular patching, and maintain secure configurations.
  • Work closely with users and customers to resolve issues, gather requirements, and support mission operations.
  • Communicate and escalate technical issues to management in a timely and effective manner.
