Systems Integration Engineer
About The Position
The Systems Integration Engineer will bring new programs and in-flight projects onto a shared Department of Defense test platform while maintaining the work already running on it. The role supports a new Defense Health Agency program and is contingent upon contract award; the start date will align with the program start. The preferred location is onsite at the test center in Chantilly, Virginia, in the Washington, D.C. area. Remote work is also available from Huntsville, Alabama, or elsewhere in the continental United States through government-approved virtual desktop access, with travel to Chantilly when needed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in systems integration or infrastructure engineering.
- Experience with VMware or cloud infrastructure.
- Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the background investigation designated by the Defense Health Agency for the position.
- A DoD 8140 qualification for the applicable work role before receiving privileged access, or the ability to earn it within six months.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience in a DoD or federal environment.
- An active Secret clearance or higher.
Responsibilities
- Onboard new test programs and their environments.
- Integrate in-flight infrastructure initiatives with platform standards.
- Write integration runbooks and test cutovers.
- Coordinate changes with platform, infrastructure, and cyber teams.
