AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring the continuous running of the cloud. This includes supporting all AWS data centers and their associated equipment like servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling. The team tackles challenging problems with numerous variables impacting the supply chain. The role involves joining a diverse team of engineers, specialists, and managers, collaborating across AWS to maintain high standards for safety and security, provide infinite capacity at low cost, and foster an inclusive culture that encourages bold ideas. As a Systems Integration Engineer with deep expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, you will bridge software simulation environments and physical hardware. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure control systems, firmware, and mechanical infrastructure perform as designed before field deployment. This includes owning the end-to-end integration validation lifecycle, from defining test architectures and building HIL rigs to executing closed-loop testing that replicates real-world datacenter conditions. Your contributions will prevent costly field failures, accelerate product deployment, and establish scalable institutional validation frameworks across global datacenter programs.
