About The Position

Information Management Group (IMG) is seeking a highly motivated Systems Implementation Officer to join their team in Fairfax, VA with a Telework schedule. This position requires a professional with strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. The Systems Implementation Officer will support the NETCOM to improve Mission Effectiveness and enable Army Modernization and Readiness requirements, ultimately enhancing overall network performance and security while improving the user experience.

Requirements

  • DOD Secret or DOE L clearance
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, engineering, scientific or a mathematics-intensive discipline or a Relevant Technical Discipline.
  • 4 years of relevant experience will be considered equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
  • 2 years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree will be considered the equivalent of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of practical related experience required
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic messaging and network transformation (Gov’t to commercial solutions), with extensive knowledge of commercial network standards, cyber security & DOD policies, and evaluation metrics.
  • Assist in the development of familiarity of existing infrastructure and technical capabilities at multiple installations.
  • Provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory Reviews and inputs to support the Other Transaction Agreement’s (OTA), and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) acquisition requirements.
  • Advise and assist government leads with researching and documenting readiness requirements, and validating / using data, reports, and other outputs from both existing and new capabilities / tools to define and document system readiness deficiencies.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new technology to support NETCOM’s information objectives (e.g., Zero Trust Architecture, Network Modernization, Network Transformation, Network Integration, mobile applications, etc.).
  • Develop, document, and maintain business processes in addition to gathering lessons learned.
  • Review acquisition, research, engineering and technical reports in addition to preparing documents, briefings and OPORDS for executive level staff.
