About The Position

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development, integration, and testing of this advanced system. Requirements

  • Experience with the readiness/execution of system level tests
  • Experience integrating or troubleshooting electrical or hardware-software systems
  • System Level Test planning and execution experience with an understanding of all the interdependencies
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the execution of weapon systems flight test
  • Experience integrating or troubleshooting electrical or hardware-software systems
  • Experience interfacing with Range Safety and Customer Counterparts
  • Active or current Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Support the weapon system integration in test labs leading up to a flight test event.
  • Execute the system level integration and testing to ensure the weapon system meets its performance, safety, and functional objectives.
  • Coordinate test lab activities for Navy efforts to drive execution.
  • Offer guidance to a Systems Engineering team, covering the entire Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development to weapons system operations and integration.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the larger systems team, national team members, and customers to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to assist with the resolution of programmatic and technical issues across the program, identify risks and appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with government and customer representatives to support critical daily space-based operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities.
