About The Position

The Systems Engineering Technician is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining product configuration systems that support accurate and scalable manufacturing outputs. This role works closely with Engineering, Production, and Systems Integration teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across multiple platforms. This position plays an important role in generating part-level data and supporting the system integrations that drive efficient, accurate, and increasingly automated manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with data management, system configuration, or related technical environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 2020 Insight, Construct, or similar product configuration platforms.
  • Familiarity with MES systems and manufacturing data integration.
  • Understanding of CNC machinery, Cutrite optimization, or manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with ERP or product configuration systems.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, data structures, or automation workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer product configuration systems to support accurate and scalable manufacturing outputs.
  • Develop and maintain configuration data within 2020 Insight and Construct platforms.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Enable precise part-level data generation to support downstream manufacturing processes.
  • Support integration and data output requirements for MES systems and related technologies.
  • Create and manage data outputs for Cutrite, CNC machinery, and other production equipment.
  • Assist with the implementation of RFID solutions and environmental reporting data requirements.
  • Monitor data flow across multiple manufacturing and system platforms to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data or configuration issues that impact production.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve system performance, increase efficiency, and reduce manufacturing errors.
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to support system functionality and integration.
