About The Position

As a systems engineer for Integrated Support Facility guidance program, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for the test and diagnosis of the current iteration of the TRIDENT II D5LE missile guidance system. This work will target coordination between multiple engineering disciplines to better suit the current mission.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Ability to work within a strong fundamental team environment.
Motivated self-starter, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to comprehend technical documents and interpret testing limits and requirements.
Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools.
Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.

Responsibilities

Test and diagnosis of the current iteration of the TRIDENT II D5LE missile guidance system.
Coordination between multiple engineering disciplines.
Document troubleshooting plans on both new and fielded systems.
Provide evaluation and test support to ensure all technical features are functioning properly.
Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate systems engineering tasks such as requirements analysis, test documentation, design trade studies, and report summarization.
Work with enterprise AI platforms and multiple AI models, including understanding when and how to apply AI effectively while following established guardrails for handling CUI and proprietary data.
Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and adopt new AI-enabled workflows to improve engineering productivity and quality.
