About The Position

The Associate, Systems Engineering position will serve as the chief technical support contact for our offsite Field Service Representatives (FSRs). This role involves providing remote troubleshooting guidance, interpreting complex technical drawings and training materials to support field operations, and delivering engineering expertise to help our field teams resolve system issues and ensure successful customer deployments. The position requires communication within and outside of the function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures. There is a willingness and ability to travel up to 10% and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science) with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in one or more of the following areas: Networking: IP addressing, switching/routing, video teleconferencing, VoIP/telephony, or WANs.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in one or more of the following areas: Cybersecurity: Familiarity with government Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes or Security+ certification.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in one or more of the following areas: Cisco Certifications: CCNA or CCNP.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in one or more of the following areas: Collaboration Skills: Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, or government customers.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in one or more of the following areas: Testing & Documentation: Developing and implementing software/system test plans in team environments.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in one or more of the following areas: Aviation Systems: Knowledge of aircraft navigation systems, radios, Flight Management Systems (FMS), radar altimeters, IFF transponders, or TCAS.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in one or more of the following areas: Communication Protocols: Familiarity with ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RS232/422, Ethernet, or other serial protocols.
  • Must be a US citizen.

  • Active DoD security clearance.
