Systems Eng Manager

Honeywell Aerospace•Lansdale, PA

About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team developing advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions for defense missions across air, land, and maritime platforms. The role provides technical and organizational leadership across development programs and independent research initiatives, shaping technical strategy, driving program execution, mentoring engineering talent, and delivering innovative technologies. The Systems Engineering organization designs, analyzes, plans, and develops major subsystems and small-scale systems, primarily in RF Electronic Warfare. Work includes Radar Warning, Situational Awareness, Interferometry and Direction Finding, Electronic Attack, and self-protect RF Countermeasures, including on- and off-board systems. The manager leads key project segments and is responsible for achieving schedule and technical performance across department personnel. The position requires a structured approach to development, including design, estimation, execution, and performance tracking. The manager provides technical insight to help ensure designs meet performance and life-cycle requirements within budget and schedule constraints. The team performs circuit analysis for system-level specifications or RF components, considering performance, schedule, cost, reliability, and manufacturability. Work may include technical research, testing, documentation, and presentations, in collaboration with other engineering disciplines. The successful candidate will lead and develop systems engineers, set organizational goals and resource strategies, and guide systems engineering through requirements development, architecture, integration, verification, and release. The role also supports proposals and capture, contributes to technology roadmaps and IRAD investment strategies, promotes engineering best practices, and engages customers to help shape future products and solutions. This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM). Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible for clearance processing for this role. Occasional travel may be required for customer, industry, or program activities.
