As a Systems Engineering Manager – Level 2 your role at Promontory, UT will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Ready to join forces with our visionary team? The Systems Engineering Manager is responsible for all systems engineering support required to meet program demands assigned to their group which may include NASA products, defense, strategic and commercial products. They are responsible to work with the Chief Engineers and Program Leadership to support key program objectives. Systems Engineers at Propulsion Systems actively participate in the development of new solid rocket motor or booster level systems and system upgrades by managing architecture, requirements, verification, and integrated change control processes in a disciplined, broad reaching process, to ensure our propulsion systems projects perform to specification, satisfy customer needs, and maintain configuration integrity throughout the lifecycle of each product. The systems engineering manager will continue to support the projects they are assigned, typically in a lead role, in addition to personnel management responsibilities. This position will require periodic assignments at the Bacchus (Magna), UT location. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
