This position will support the SDS Division and its multiple programs in either Roy, Utah. This position may offer a competitive relocation package. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 8 years of related experience; 6 years of related experience with a master’s degree
  • Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
  • Must have Special Access Program (SAP) clearance with access to CJ1
  • Experience in aerospace/defense systems.
  • Experience in developing and executing Systems Engineering process governance documentation in a DoD Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase.
  • Experience in creating, updating, and maintaining requirements specifications in DOORS.
  • Experience on large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production.
  • Experience in creating, updating, and maintaining Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile
  • 2 years experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) systems
  • Familiar with Teamcenter/CPLM
  • Experience with SE events (e.g., PDR, CDR)
  • Experience resolving issues and providing technical support
  • Experience using Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems.
  • Experience coordinating with multi cross functional teams to create cohesive system engineering products
  • Presentation skills to communicate effectively at all levels of management and to individual contributors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Prior experience operating in a dynamic environment of increasing pace
  • Proven team leadership experience in program integration, operations, program execution, proposals, or capture efforts -- to meet quality, performance, cost, and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the efforts of other Feature architecture personnel to develop system engineering artifacts necessary to scope software development
  • Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop rigorous and proper systems engineering and design artifacts.
  • feature development, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirements traceability, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification.
  • Work with technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature WS design of a large program.
  • Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model.
  • Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).
  • Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.
  • Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)
