About The Position

T-Solutions is seeking a full-time Systems Engineering Lead to oversee the requirements of the Statement of Work at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) at Wallops Island, Virginia. This role provides crucial support in management, engineering, operations, and technical expertise for the activation, operation, maintenance, and engineering of equipment, systems, and computer programs for Naval Sea Systems Command and Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems missions and projects. SCSC offers live and simulated integrated warfare capabilities in a net-centric maritime environment for developing, testing, evaluating, and conducting fleet operations and training.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s of Science degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
  • At least seven years of demonstrated experience managing large projects including ability to plan, develop schedules, organize, and coordinate team members to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must maintain the capability to communicate with their supervisor or manager when not in the office.

Nice To Haves

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired; however, candidates eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in various types of electronic systems such as C4I, Combat Systems, Communication Systems, etc.
  • System design, integration, modification, testing, installation engineering, and design engineering.
  • Developing and reviewing equipment test plans and procedures.
  • Conducting analyses, analyzing test results, and recommending design changes to bring systems into compliance with design/performance specifications.
  • Adjusting and correlating data, recognizing discrepancies in results, and following operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.
  • Coordinating, computing, or synthesizing engineering or technical data.
  • Using prescribed mathematical formulae and/or models to calculate measures of performance characteristics for electronic systems.
  • Supervising technical staff assigned to project.
  • Training of project personnel in the procedures and approaches available for the work effort.
