Lead - Systems Engineering

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operational Excellence, you play a key role in the optimization and evolution of operations at a regional level. You provide leadership to a team of 2 to 4 engineers and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our transportation network.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience, including some experience in supervision or leadership
- Strong analytical skills and a results-driven mindset
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence
- Availability to travel to operational sites across the network (Eastern Canada) and provide occasional support outside regular business hours, depending on project needs
- Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.

- Experience in an operational or logistics environment (an asset)
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset, with strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and engage a team of engineers (planning, prioritization, coaching)
- Ensure terminal operational performance by analyzing KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities
- Optimize operational processes (delivery, dock operations, workforce planning, routing)
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Act as a strategic partner to operations teams (communicating results, risks, and action plans)
- Coach and support operational managers to strengthen practices and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, HR, H&S, etc.) to ensure alignment
- Contribute to decisions with a tangible impact on parcel and freight transportation network performance
