Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering and product development
  • Experience leading technical strategies, technology roadmaps, and engineer skill‑development plans across at least two programs exceeding $5M each
  • Experience developing Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), identifying cost, schedule, and performance risks, and driving mitigation strategies
  • Experience leading cross‑functional technical teams and collaborating closely with hardware, software, test, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders
  • Experience in full lifecycle systems engineering, including requirements development, architecture, design, integration, and V&V
  • Experience defining architecture vision and approach for complex, multi‑functional or multi‑product systems that conform to and utilize reference architectures, executable architectures, and modeling complex systems and aligning models with detailed design
  • Experience facilitating, conducting, and organizing technical reviews, including briefing leadership and managing action‑item closure
  • Ability to build traceability across requirements, architecture, design, and test artifacts using model‑based methodologies
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Mathematics (STEM)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Digital Engineering toolsets, including IBM DOORS NextGen, Dassault MagicDraw family of products, Windchill or TeamCenter, Syndeia, and Atlassian Jira or similar
  • Experience in applying MBSE methodologies to drive requirement flow‑down, architecture modeling, and design integration
  • Experience with Department of War Architecture Framework (DAF) or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 acquisition lifecycle and associated systems engineering artifacts and expectations
  • Knowledge of the Agile development frameworks, toolsets, and roles
  • Ability to lead, coach, and guide engineering teams to develop trusted technical solutions
  • Ability to effectively engage with SMEs and end users to support hardware and software solution development
  • INCOSE ASEP or CSEP certification or similar systems engineering or architecture accreditation
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree in STEM field
