Occasional travel between Raytheon facilities in Huntsville AL is expected to support testing activities.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session
Experience troubleshooting technical software or hardware issues, creating analysis tools and/or automating data sets
Experience scripting using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming languages
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Nice To Haves

Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
Knowledge of integration, verification, or radar operation concepts
Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems, and Shell scripting and with integrating software with hardware/electronics
Experience in developing and evaluating hardware and test requirements
Experience with creating test procedures, test scripts, and maintaining configuration control documentation

Responsibilities

Support engineering activities that include integration and test, modeling and simulation, requirements analysis, data analysis, and ground test and flight test data analysis
Document analysis results in reports and briefings for internal and external stakeholders
Participate in key processes such as peer, gate, and test readiness reviews
