About The Position

Cirrus Venture Labs (CVL), Cirrus Logic’s technology accelerator, develops scalable innovations and silicon-centric business models to address high-impact industry problems and support expansion into new markets and product categories. The Graduate Systems Engineering Intern – Power & Control will work with experienced engineers, Innovation Managers, and technical architects to explore and prototype technologies in power electronics, motor control, and intelligent physical systems. The intern will apply advanced academic knowledge to engineering challenges through system modeling, simulation, hardware development, and experimental validation. The work includes exploring the use of machine learning and modern AI tools to support engineering discovery and prototyping, contributing to early-stage technology initiatives, collaborating with external ecosystem partners, and learning about the technical and commercial factors that shape new semiconductor technologies and businesses. The role requires working within commutable distance of the listed work location or relocating before the internship begins. Interns should expect to work in the office more frequently than the company’s usual 2+ day schedule, potentially up to five days per week, depending on business needs and team preference. Candidates must be able to access technical data without an export license; the company cannot sponsor or obtain export licenses for this role.
