Systems Engineering Intern
About The Position
Weâre looking for a Systems Engineering Intern to work directly on the development of advanced radar and sensor systems across multiple platforms, including drones and ground vehicles. This highly handsâon role spans embedded software, hardware prototyping, and mechanical design/build. Youâll help turn concepts into field-ready radar systems, from low-level code and electronics integration through physical assembly, lab bringâup, and testing. This is a great role for someone who wants broad exposure to real-world systems engineering and enjoys building things that live at the intersection of software, hardware, and mechanical design. SoloPulse Corp is a dual-use radar company committed to the relentless exploration of the frontiers of radar sensing technology. Through the utilization of novel advanced wave theory algorithms, underpinned by the principles of special relativity, SoloPulse can achieve state of the art resolution and latency metrics. Responsibilities
- Embedded coding for sensor, control, and data acquisition systems
- Hardware prototyping, wiring, bring-up, and integration
- Collect, analyze, and distribute data to various engineering teams
- Mechanical design, fabrication, assembly, and system packaging
- Debugging across software, electronics, and physical hardware
- Supporting drone and sensing platform development from concept to test
