About The Position

This internship offers an opportunity to explore the world of aerospace and defense, learn from industry leaders, and contribute to RTX's mission of creating a safer, more connected world. Interns will participate in a collaborative integrated product team, supporting the design, integration, verification, and validation of avionics CNS products. The role involves hands-on experience across the full product development life-cycle, including requirements management, systems architecture, test planning, and data analysis. Interns will also assist in documenting engineering work in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
Experience in any of the scripting languages, like Python, Perl.
Strong interest in the aerospace industry and related fields.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
