Areas interns will be exposed to: Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, including system architecture, requirements and behavior modeling, and system verification using SysML‑based tools. Collaboration with hardware and software teams to integrate system models, supporting analysis and traceability from requirements through design, implementation, and test. Evaluation of system‑level cybersecurity, safety, and reliability controls, including modeling of constraints, interfaces, and compliance requirements. Cross‑functional communication with mechanical, electrical, software, test, and product teams to ensure aligned and cohesive system design throughout development.

Requirements

  • Working towards a degree in Systems, Electrical, Computer, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with SysML v1 (minimum) or SysML v2 (preferred).
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering software tools (e.g., Catia Magic, Sparx Enterprise Architect, Vitech Core or Genesys).
  • Previous project experience (past internships, research, project teams, etc.).
  • GPA of 3.6 or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Work on engineering aspects of medical devices.
