About The Position

As a Systems Engineering Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work across engineering disciplines and see how a complex avionics product progresses from requirements and architecture through design, integration, verification, and qualification. Just as importantly, you will learn how engineering teams turn technical challenges into executable plans, and how systems engineers help keep multidisciplinary teams aligned.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Foundational engineering problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine system and product requirements with guidance from experienced engineers.
Help define verification methods, test cases, test procedures, and acceptance criteria.
Integrate hardware and software and perform hands-on testing in an avionics laboratory.
Investigate problems that cross systems, hardware, software, firmware, and test boundaries.
Participate in technical reviews and help teams evaluate design alternatives and engineering tradeoffs.
