About The Position

As a Systems Engineer at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • 0–10+ years of professional experience in systems engineering.
  • TS/SCI is required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with systems integration, MBSE methodologies, and tools such as MagicDraw and SysML is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with DoD standards and modular open systems approaches preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of sophisticated software, web, and hardware systems from initial specifications through rollout and maintenance.
  • Integrate network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices to create cohesive, resilient solutions.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools (e.g., MagicDraw, SysML) to develop and document system architectures.
  • Ensure system designs are modular, scalable, interoperable, and maintainable, leveraging MOSA principles and DoD standards.
  • Conduct technical trade studies, engineering reviews, and interface mapping to verify system interoperability and compliance.
  • Translate organizational interoperability visions into practical, standards-based system designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage specifications, design, coding, testing, and maintenance activities.
