Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of engineering and integration experience in the following: cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP); and foundational technologies, including IAM and core IaaS services (compute, storage, networking.)
  • 3 years of experience in the following: Mainframe Batch and workload automation; software engineering and/or testing; data analysis; operation systems (Linux, Windows); storage (enterprise SAN, NAS); database (SQL Server, Oracle); mainframe; and IBM Mainframes & Batch.
  • 2 years of experience with the following: infrastructure as code technologies (CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM templates); complex operating environments; and programming language (Python, PowerShell, Groovy, COBOL.)

Responsibilities

  • Design, provision, and govern cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure using infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager, as well as DevOps tools and GitOps techniques.
  • Design and develop cloud services and provisioning processes to support consistent, standardized, secure, scalable, and fully automated deployment.
  • Provide technical leadership to team, vendor and contractor resources, validation of designs, flawless execution, and seamless transition of applications and services into the cloud environment.
