About The Position

The Systems Engineer 4 performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Work spans all levels of a total system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. The engineer converts customer or product requirements into total systems solutions while accounting for technical, schedule, and cost constraints. This includes functional and timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. This is a hands-on engineering position requiring strong analytical skills, willingness to learn complex DoD requirements, and the ability to work under senior engineer guidance. The role supports system design and analysis, interface verification, testing, failure and anomaly resolution, mission operations, and evaluation or validation of system components, subsystem models, or system implementations.
