Systems Engineer
About The Position
Ameriprise Financial, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer, in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves performing system design engineering implementation, integration, and optimization. The Systems Engineer will utilize systems expertise and knowledge of software, hardware, networks, and storage to collaborate with architecture, application development, business analysts, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to evaluate business needs and design/manage end-to-end technical solutions. Additionally, the role provides technical guidance to other technology resources pertaining to projects and/or area of expertise. Remote work is permitted one day per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience with the design and operation of complex computing systems and systems administration, including network on Unix and Windows platforms.
- 5 years of experience in JavaScript, HTML, React JS, TypeScript, CSS, Jest, and State Management (Redux).
