About The Position

The Systems Engineer applies systems engineering skills to complete assigned engineering tasks on time and within customer cost and quality requirements. The role develops solutions and solves simple problems to deliver engineering projects on time, on quality, and on budget. The engineer writes reports and presents completed work at peer and design reviews. Off-site duties may be carried out as project needs require. Some roles may require candidates to meet U.S. nationality requirements and be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Requirements

• Introductory knowledge of fundamental systems engineering disciplines.
• Basic Python or MATLAB function-scripting skills.
• Comfort with hands-on operations and scripting in a Linux/UNIX operating system environment.
• Hold or be enrolled in a program for a bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, from an accredited college.
• May be required to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Complete systems engineering tasks for assigned projects within customer cost and quality requirements.
• Develop solutions and solve simple problems to deliver engineering projects on time, on quality, and on budget.
• Write reports and present work at peer and design reviews.
• Carry out duties off-site when required by project needs.
